probably buy a 360 Arcade if it drops below $200...

warez are bad, Hmmkay?

I hope encouraging piracy is banned. Mods?

I wasn't aware modding a console for the sake of playing home-made game is "encouraging piracy". Heck, I have my iphone modded, does that make me a theft?

You can't modify the Xbox 360 to play home made games (homebrew).

You can only play retail copies.

So yes, you are encouraging piracy, your drawing of a parallel with the iphone is completely unrelated and doesn't hold up.

We all know you weren't suggesting your original comment just for homebrew games.

And yes, I wish I could ban people for being dirty pirates or encouraging people to pirate games.

where are you getting the 90 bucks thing?

199 + 30 (found a bunch on ebay for this)+ 45 or a year of live

so that puts yeah about 274

so its still a good deal

let's just say... "i bought this at this price on eBay".. really isn't a good argument.

it's the MSRP people always refer to.

Unlike you being in this topic, that wasn't meant to be an argument. Mesoteto was giving Leetgeek a real suggestion on where to get a 20GB hard drive cheaper than retail because that is a major buying concern he had. People can refer to the MSRP all they want, but a smart shopper looks for the bargain on what they want. If you want to buy your crap at Walmart at retail be my guest. Some of us would like to make you money go further. I know Zenfolder will back me up on this. He loves eBay and buys almost all of his 360 stuff on there as do I.

there is a MAJOR difference between eBay and Walmart??? Mainly... if you don't like it within a certain period.. or god forbid, it doesn't even work to begin with, you can still return it to Walmart.

What's my warranty from eBay?

The warranty depends on the retailer. You do seem completely unfamiliar with what eBay is, and considering it's popularity, you're basically living under a rock asking these types of questions. Why don't you go to the site and see with your own eyes what it is?

An advantage of eBay over Walmart is that I don't have to worry about losing my receipt on eBay for returns, but I have to at Walmart. Secondly, if I open up a retail 20 GB from Walmart and it doesn't work, Walmart isn't taking it back. They're going to tell me to go through Microsoft.

 Kingofwale...

Please stop trying to be annoyingin...one word comes to mind "pedantic".

60 gb 360 will probably be $299 at the same time arcade goes to $199. So just get that. You save $150 on a PS3 and have access to a better holiday lineup plus better existing lineup. That's not to be sniffed at.

1. You mean $100?

2. You do realize the OP already has a PS3 right?

I think Leetgeek should stick with his PS3, it is a far superior console to the 360 imo.

I thought that was his opinion also? From all his previous posts I would go so far to say as maybe Leetgeek has been murdered and a more pro 360 owner is living his life.

LOL.

I quote:  "kinda how to hurt microsoft, by not paying for their games..."

If that statement alone doesn't constitute someone "encouraging piracy" I don't know what is.

Completed X360:
High Def Movie Collection

Wow another PS3 fanboy fake posts, yes you can use the originail 20gb etc that comes with the 360 BUT you can also use a USB drive of almost "ANY" size as long as you use a prog like Partition magic to format it.

So let's see what we have here -

1. You can use the 360 for High Def Movie downloads which delete themself anyway so NO harddrive space needed.

2. 360 is backward compatible and you can download Xbox 1 games direct for Xbox live BUT you can also just buy the original Xbox 1 games on dvd for peanuts now so again NO hard drive space needed.

3. Gamesaves 20gb would store millions so irrelivent.

4.Demos take up space but just how long would anyone want or care about a demo ? if they liked the game that much they would buy it.

So in reality when you compare the Two systems there is NOTHING to choose, USB will store and displayall your 360 Photos,MP3s and Div-x mp4 films etc.

Shows the 360 is doing very well when a fanboy makes these type of posts.....

"But if you are a real microsoft hater, it's one extreme you can try to do"

There really are some weirdos out there..

Hey come on now don't keep calling him a fanboy. We all know Leetgeek prefers the PS3 and thats fine.  It seems he wanted some clarifications on the 360 arcade and what was available to him and at what prices. He was mature about it and was respectful. No need to toss around any flack.

OT: Im almost certain all the new models have HDMI ports with them but like Burgles said a quick peek doesn't hurt. You'll have a lot of customization options if you decide to play online or anything like that. It seems you've played GuildWars so assuming you have a gaming PC the arcade will be a pretty good fit for your needs. Btw, I miss guildwars :( damn you Warcraft!
