For graphics: Far cry 2 = killzone 2 > Gears 2 > Resistance 2. For gameplay: Resistance 2 > Gears 2 > Far cry 2 = Killzone 2. agree anyone?

For texture,Gears 2 seems had the upperhand here,
but for overall performance(Special effects,model,polygon),
Killzone 2 looks a bit impressive than Gears 2 FOR ME.

gears 2 i think ign and gametrailers gave best graphics at e3 to gears also killzone looks good but it doesnt have nearly the scale gears has in terms of enviroments and enemies

From those screenshots, gears looks better, the details on gears are incredeble, just look marcus vs the killzone guy and you can see very easy a difference, but in vids of booth games looks almost the same. I stil thinking than gears looks better, but, killzone will be relase 3 or 4 months after gears, so, the graphics could be better at the end.

 

 

With those screens, also, considering "horde mode," scale of the battles, and the destructable environments all running at a smooth clip....I gotta go with IGN here and say Gears 2. It's not just about screenshots. It's functional graphics.

Both games have good graphics, though. I think the existance of Gears 2 pretty much dispells the "PS3 has better graphics, secretly" thing, though. It definitely looks better than MGS4 or Uncharted.

I almost agree, except I'd say that Gears 1's gameplay is about 10x better than Resistance 1's, and I think that Gears 2 will be about 20x better than Resistance 2, and I know that most previewers would probably say "You're overembellishing, but you're right."

I think Resistance 1 is overhyped. It wasn't even AAA for a launch title. I think Resistance 2 will be great, and much better than Resistance 1, but I also think Gears 2 will be great, and slightly better than Gears 1. Unless they completely overhaul the gameplay, I doubt it'll reach the fun-level of Gears, imo.

 

Other than that, yes, Killzone 2 is most likely to flop, and Far Cry 1 was vastly overrated.

Graphics.......... a PS3 fanboys only hope of turning a debate in his favour that he's clearly losing........... face it........ Gears 1 94% , Killzone 1 71% Killzone does not even deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the all MIGHTY Gears of war............ Graphics? PFFFFFT
