Think Resident Evil 4 ps2 edit, they are using the cutscenes from the xbox360, Frank will have the default appearence in cutscenes, those are not ingame,

Proof? No I didn't think you had any. There is no way of knowing currently whether or not those scenes are being done in-game or through FMV right now. Those scenes were in-game during the 360 version though which makes me think it will be in-game once again.

I don't need written proof just inferred proof, the wii isn't a 360 or ps3, it never will be. Look at the other clearly in game screenshots, the zombies don't even cast real time shadows yet
NekoSOM said: Anyone who thinks those are full motion videos need to have their head examined. They weren't FMVs on the 360 and they aren't on the Wii. Jesus, they're not even that good of quality! What the hell would make you think they're pre-rendered? What artist in their right mind would spend all that time and money doing a pre-rendered cutscene, but then make the backgrounds in the scenes look exactly as they would in-game?
So the more appropriate response would be that those shots are from cutscenes, and yes, the quality decreases during actual gameplay. Still, the fact that they are identical to the 360 version should be heartening to those hoping the graphics stand up to the 360 version. |
yes they weren't on the 360 but neither were RE4's on the GC, but on the ps2 they were. They are movies of the in-game xbox 360 cutscenes recorded for use on the wii
Look at an xbox 360 in game cutscene screen

compare it to the above screens, they have the same level of detail and lighting and so forth,
and looking at the action

take a wii in game screen

sure decent detail and enemy count but the lighting isn't anywhere near the 360 and it is no where near the cutscene detail,
frankly I'd be willing to bet that those character screens are Pre-Recorded FMV
