in stores they got shipment more regular then before. so instead of recieving 10 in 6 weeks they get like 4-5 a week now. altho its sold out end of day.

i was very lucky i got the last one in a gamestore while other 3 gamestores around it where sold out already. so i guess its better availeble.

a friend of my ordered one and got it in 1 week, while in the beginning a friend of my had to waits 5 weeks.

so ill presume they are availeble after summer everywhere
(but yes, ps3 and x360 are alot availeble. pallets holding like 25 of them standing everywhere and 2 days later maybe 1 or 2 removed (no its not a new pallet))

Pretty much everyone in the thread is saying, "I live in X area and I never see Wiis at stores" and you come and post that supply is starting to meet demand? How can you possibly tell that if it's still sold out in 90% of the major cities? If you look at Wii availability threads on various forums, you'll see pages of people still struggling to get Wiis with many of them saying that they just gave up and bought one for $50-$80 over retail on ebay.

Judging by the experiences of retailers and game store operators, Nintendo is no closer to meeting demand than they have been at any point this year.  It's likely they'll continue to struggle to approach demand through the releases of Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, and Metroid Prime 3 before the holiday season comes around.  Once the holidays come around, they will be sold out as bad as last year.  Perhaps even worse, since more people want a Wii this year than last.

Honestly, I have seen Wiis for the past couple months, too...

But that's on a Sunday morning, and they're gone by the end of the day to be sure.

I'm gonna be around stores today, so I may grab some pics of the stock of consoles they have :P

Yep it is posts like this that cause me to question another poster erroniously. I admit after looking at Arcturus's post I realized I had his posts mixed up with someone else and that he was probably truthful.

It is that too many times I have read certain fanboys post false info on consoles X's availailty to make themselves feel better.

No for Leo-J. You may have seen a Wii or two in stores for a day but if you honestly saw that many Wii's you would be an extreme idiot not to buy them up and sell them on e-bay for extra money.

 I've personally never seen Wii's in stock anywhere in my area since it was released.  And a couple weeks ago when I asked Best Buy how long they stay in stock, he said a max of 6 hours.  But, for some reason this months "Wii's are in stock" has got me curious.  I'll have to check this weekend
