I'm in New Mexico and it was nearly 8 months before I saw a Wii in the wild. I held it ... thought about buying it and said 'Forget it.' Two weeks later, I bought one, but returned it (don't ask). The next week, I called around and found out on the outskirts. They have 5 and I bought one.
I am just now starting to see them - but they do sell out quickly. They are plentiful in Wal-Marts - the ones that are off the beaten path. Forget getting one at Gamestops, Best Buys, Circuit Citys, CompUSAs and Targets ... but I have had reports of folks getting Wiis at Sam's Club and Costco.
