Forums - Website Topics - Does anybody work in a Videogame store?

Ugh, that was always my most dreaded place to buy games as a kid... the stores were always dirty, the guys behind the desk were always condescending.  It's always been a pain to find good game stores in Canada, I can understand why there's less games/systems sold by population here.  I use to live in Hamilton, I work in North York and I now live in Oshawa.  I wish there were better online stores for buying games here....

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I work for a missile company if that is any help.

I love games

When I retire, I'm going to go work for a game store!

To bad I won't retire for another 30 years or so...

But I've never seen someone in their 60s working in a game store....

Oops, off topic. Sorry.

-Manella: Yeah... sux0rz! I hate missing out on food...
-Maya: Nick... what does "Sucksores" mean?
-Phoenix: No idea...

well my girlfriend works in a second hand shop for games, dvds and musik, so I can get lots of cheap stuff under the table but its not really a help for you guys at all, sorry

If you could get these stores to co-operate I think you'd pretty much have U.S. sales made. IMO this is a good representation of both hardcore gamers and mainstreamers/children. Even the NPD doesn't have the biggest VG retailer - Wal-mart....

i'm good friends with the owner of my local game store i'll ask him if you want sales info.
