Since the DS is the only handheld I have ever owned, I'm a latecomer to Pokemon, Diamond being my introduction to the series. Since then I have also played Leafgreen and Emerald.

3. N/A (I like the pokemon on Ruby better, Groundon, somehing like that)

Silver is the only one I ever bought.

I was in high school when Pokemon started to get big. I was like what it up with all these dorks playing Pokemans... Then my friend convinced me to try Red right before G/S came out.

I own the following:

Yellow
Gold
Sapphire
Diamond

but i've also played blue, silver. crystal, fire red, peril, and ruby at one time.

I had Blue and played the hell out of that game, 100+ hours. My brother got Red. They were both presents, so I didn't choose which I got.

I also had Silver, but I didn't get very far. Probably only three or four badges. I think that game was also a gift.

I never owned another Pokemon game after that.
