I've love that. LEGO Star Wars was one of the best SW games I've seen in ages.

Hey, I love it too, I'll be all over the Complete Saga. It just might not be up to everyone's expectations of a FPSaber.

If they pay close attention to the Wii version, the complete saga could be awesome. For every Jedi, you have the wii-mote for light sabers, and the nunchuck for force powers. But that's TT, not LucasArts, so hopefully they have something else in store for us.

Ackmed Tepish, Shadows of the Empire was NOT a good game. Sure the aerial stages for a blast but the on foot missions were pretty bad. I felt like Dash Rendar was wearing roller skates. If the on foot missions were as well done as the in flight missions I'd agree with you.

The last time LuscArts made a decent game, I was in my skivies and pretending to be a Transformer.

I'm 30 now. That says a lot about LucasArts and their game-making ability.

If they outsource it, I'm all for trying out the game.

Lego Star Wars II is more than a decent game, try it it's very good and lots of fun.

I know it is. I've played it. The thing is that LucasArts, as a developer, hasn't made a game worth a damn in years.

Which is why they should outsource it.

factor 5 finished developing that panzer dragon clone????

we need them...
for some serious games...

Yeah Panzer Dragoon clone. Have you even played Panzer Dragoon and have you seen Lair? Why is it a clone because you're riding dragons in both? Fuckin ridiculous...

I SEE MORE THAN A SIMILARITY...

they added some in air battles and some limited landing battle... but in the end is old panzer dragon concept like you see in last part of lair video... i think this game will be a total failure

let's hope they come back to momma nintendo and make some good starwars game.

please be polite don't make member war .

Yeah, I don't know what you are smoking ALKO. It has nothing to do with Panzer Dragoon. What it is is a Rogue Squadron clone, which basically means it will be good (if they don't screw it up with horrible waggle control).

Thanks for the clone implications again.......

If this is a clone then every game of every genre is a clone of another that came before it. This is far from the truth.

Simmer down there ckmlb. Naz is joking...sort of. I mean he wouldn't be the first to notice that Lair looks just like a factor 5 rogue squadron game, but with Dragons instead of the Starwars License. Just like Mass effect looks just like Kotor, but without the Starwars license. Nothing wrong with that though, it's just an observation.

Yeah I was joking ckmlb, but just as stof says, there are a LOT of similarities.  Every gaming source that I have listened to (1UP, IGN, and Penny Arcade) has commented that the game looks and feels almost exactly like a rogue squadron game with dragons instead.  It's not by any means a clone, I was just saying that in a mock of ALKO, but it certainly shows little change in the factor5 style which they developed through the Rogue Squadron games.  That is not by any means bad, factor5 are great developers.

ps: ALKO, it's nothing like Panzer Dragoon... pass the weed man.

Great comic.  Another amazing one on Lair (well really on fanboys, the Lair boards were just quoted.... yes these are all real quotes) http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2007/06/01

It's most likely referring to the Lego Star Wars game, which is probably going to have tacked-on crappy controls (it's a port) that will just leave us all wishing even harder for a real Star Wars game.

I think I heard in IGN something about Pandemic being a possible developer?
They have a Wii project in the way.
I guess that they may be those devs that have that adult game w/o a publisher.

Nah. It is Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga with tacked on controls. Nothing to get excited about.
