Cause retailers didn't have faith in the game. According to VGC, it sold through 85% of its 20k retailer pre-orders, and many shops sold out.

Main character is English.
Has a dark feel not a over cutesy jay we made it type japanyse crap (FF9 Trusty bell).
Not much faith behind the devs.

The 10 second answer is "it was released on the wrong system"

The same game that would sell 1 Million copies on the PS2 or Nintendo DS can not sell well on the PS3 because there is far too little interest in the platform.

I agree.  It's not that the game is bad, it's that the Japanese show very little interest in the PS3.

Well, being that this is a JRPG and crap like Musou Orochi can sell 300,000+ units.

This should be doing better.

You are talking about a PS2 game.  The PS2 and the PS3 are nothing alike in Japan.  The PS2 was eaten up, the PS3 is being... well... ignored.

Thats exactly what im thinking. maybe wee just gotta see the next week total to truly understand how ass backwards the sales are. The demo was decent, good reviews. just devlopers with a bad rep i guess.

 

and i thing the game you mean is Gundam Musou
