I might be wrong but I remember GAAP from my accounting course... i think it was Generally Accepted Accounting Principles... maybe that's not the GAAP they refer to though...

Maybe we will see Left 4 dead and Mass effect on the PS3.I hope they show us PS3 owners so true love and not any half assed ports.
Sales predictions end of 08' (2008-7-27)
PS3 to surpass X360 WW sales by Q2 2009
I'd imagine it's the result of the 1 big release Q1 being a soccer game, of course Kotatu is a respected journalistic sight and would never ever dream of misusing information like this to attract more readers.
What's really scary is how much money the Wii produced despite only 1 new release during the Quarter and EAs general dismissal of the system thus far.
They're only counting the cost of development for porting the games to the PS3 where as the actual cost of developing the game is attributed to the cost of original 360 version..
Lots of revenue, little or no profit. The staple of Sony, Microsoft and companies which associated themselves with their strategy.

Yes that's it. Therefore I don't know why squilliam thinks the GAAP from my news article are less correct. The GAAP numbers are the official ones.
Please explain if I'm wrong here.
@BengaBenga: However, it does make one wonder why such a big discrepancy! I still don't see enough reason for PS3's revenue being 72% higher than 360's, not even the €/$ situation is enough to explain it.

@ Benga because there doesn't seem to be anything that would indicate in Vgchartz that the PS3 should have more revenue than the Xbox360. Furthermore the non GAAP numbers seem to fit the vgchartz profile on whats happening in the world.
Tease.
PSP doing great for EA :) Well it seems that some do have a good strategy how to make money on it :D
