No you're just being foolish. If Christmas doesn't come this year and the Xbox360 sales stagnate at 120k per week then it'll hit 23million. Why are retardedly low numbers and the prediction of the Xbox360s demise STILL so fashionable?

I don't want to rain on the parade or anything but using a YoY analysis can be misleading in this situation since there is no analogue to Halo 3 this year that will be driving sales into the 200k+ range during late September and through mid-October for the 360.

Who said that? I'm saying that Gears of War 2 won't be largest console game release in history big. I'm saying it won't be special edition Xbox 360 big.
I'm not saying it won't be a big release, only that it won't fill the shoes of Halo 3. Not in its software sales and certainly not in its ability to move consoles.
Who knows, maybe I get proven wrong on that.
