No need to call you out at all, the proof is all over this thread and everyone see's it. You can sit there and nit pick what you said and say that this or that certain phrase never was written, but you said that he was wrong on a 8 month old prediction by 2,000 units and that was an epic fail, turns out that his prediction was and is still correct, meaning you phailed.
Take a lesson from John Lucas, accept that you were wrong and move on, you'll look much less like an ass if you do.

My posts all had the condition that Leo-J's posts were made under the assumption that they were going to be based off VGChartz estimations, as I clearly stated in nearly every post I made.
I also stated very clearly, and in fact was the first one on this post to state, after the numbers were released, that the numbers were "likely to be adjusted up."
However, the fact that Leo-J's prediction was wrong according to VGChartz for any amount of time was a fair justification for this post, as well as any failure of that prediction.
If it is proven wrong, Leo-J will save face, but it doesn't destroy any justifications that people had for calling him out when his absolute prediction was at first seemingly proven to be wrong.
People should never make absolute predictions. Particularly when they are in favor of a console they are a known fanboy of. Flaming when they are proven wrong validates any kind of off the wall predictions anyone makes, and even if they are eventually proven to be right by whatever source, those early posts are no less valid.
Failure is not a matter of degrees. It's fail or pass. There are no "barely fail" pics on the internet.

Not even a fail, margin of error says that it could not be said that it was above or below 120k.

That's a good argument Zen.
But it doesn't change the fact that when the numbers are adjusted, you, Neos, and many other people will be wrong and Leo-j will be right.

I see where you are coming from, but even by VGChartz own methods there is at least a margin of error. 1.5k off will fall into any margin of error that a site ran by amatuers (no offense at all, you guys are gifted amatuers) so it cant be proven one way or another using your reasoning.
To stand by their methods is to stand by the fact that 118,500 could equal as much as lets say 125,000 or as little as 113,000.

That's incorrect. I made this post immediately after VGChartz was up:
We have to assume that Leo-J was referring to VGChartz numbers and not actual numbers(aka "margin for error") when he made his prediction.
He used the absolute number 120,000.
This weeks numbers were below 120,000.
Barring any adjustments to the figures this week, which could very well happen, Leo-J's prediction was an:
At the time, I assumed that the numbers would be adjusted upwards. However, at the time, Leo-J was wrong. Soon, maybe he will be right. However, when dealing with estimations, and not factual numbers, time determins if something is "true" or "false" when you are directly referring to them, means that you can be right, at one time, and wrong at another. They change. That was the point I made in that post I just quoted.
As for my motivations, I did what I did because I feel "predictions" by fanboys are no more than passive-agressive slights against consoles they are predicting to do poorly. If I can flame one, I will.

Looks like Leo-J is still right (years not over, but holidays will only increase sales)....but I have to wonder why the hell people don't just wait until NPD figures to open their mouths!? It would sure help them avoid eating crow in the future.
