When is the gimped 80GB supposed to arrive?

Gamestop has bundles in stock too ( and is number 1 us retailer for video games, is that reliable enough ?).

so does BestBuy, Target, WallMart...

And they have had it in stock for at least 6 days...

SOME Gamestops, BB, Target, Walmart have SOME 80GBs THIS week. That is a totally different situation to a couple of months ago where all retailers had full supply of 40GBs and sales were hitting 50-60k per week. 40GBs are only now available online and 80GBs are coming in limited quantities. That said, this weeks sales (27th - 2nd Aug) are already higher since there was a decent restock at many stores on Monday

And yes, Amazon is not a reliable source!

 

Ok maybe it's specific to Colorado but here there was huge restocks of 80Gb at most retailers in my area last Friday or before that ( I saw the 80Gb on Friday at BB, 8 on display, my Target had 6 80Gb on display on Satursday).

Gamestop and BB online were stocked last Wednesday and have been since ( I checked that day when I saw someone mentioning Amazon had 80Gbs).

 



PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Actually, the thread just ran its course. To be honest, I didn't know anyone posted after DMeisterJ, as you had to ressurect it.

I was talking about when I said that being 3rd on amazon means nothing because it's not an accurate measure of sales, and should only be used to determine supply. That's how it relates to this post. The rest of the epicness of that post is just icing on the cake.

Is this gonna continue until the new 400$ console comes??? Am guess not many people are gonna pay 500$ for a console if the competition is so much cheaper... Remember when the cheapest console was 500 for the ps3??? it's like were getting the same sales figures again...... 40GB's are rare in stores now..... and no, don't mention online shopping, not enough people do that to get the ps3 an additional 25K a week......
