1. FF Versus XIII
2. White Knight Chronicles
3. Kingdom Hearts 3
4. Because it was the PS3.
5. Because I hated the Xbox controller.

They announced that they were discontinuing the BC PS3s, didn't want to have a dumbed down model in the future. Other than that, I could have waited till FF XIII came out.

1) Power and functionality (eg. media player/BD)
2) I already had a PS2
3) Sony first-party exclusives
4) nothing on the 360 at the time really interested me
5) I expected it to win the gen (boy was I wrong. Oh well....)

Free online, Blu-ray, Sony's 1st party, I like the DualShock controllers, customer support (GIVE ME IN GAME XMB....they gave it), MGS4, It's black (lol), I don't have to use proprietary accessories (any USB headset or bluetooth, 3rd party keypads, HDD swapping, etc), it doesn't break, it's quiet, I could keep going.....

Because I have both the ps1 and ps2 and they were both great so thought I would get the third and its good but not great yet...
