1) Power and functionality (eg. media player/BD)
2) I already had a PS2
3) Sony first-party exclusives
4) nothing on the 360 at the time really interested me
5) I expected it to win the gen (boy was I wrong. Oh well....)
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
