Really? Have you played HTS 5? That one truly is the best in the series The upgrades from 1-2 were minimal the same goes for 3-4. 
5 adressed all the issues I had with the rest but a little late. Still fun though. I'll pick up the 2nd blach ds game as soon as I get my DS. The 3rd ones gonna be a SRPG! w00t!

 

HTS 5 was a good improvement but its still too simple when my friends can just own me by spamming ichigo(bankai)'s >+O attack, basically they just stick to one spamming tactic to win but its surely a good improvement. As for the DS one they are having the english one out soon and for 3rd one I think its better to skip since the combat is very slow. The sprites used in the game can easily make bleach DS 3rd with over 80 characters since they recycle some of the sprites for DS 2nd. If its not for the story I don,t think I can finish the game since it force you to watch every battle scene.

If HTS 5 improvments wouldve been added to 4 I think HTS 4 wouldve blown me away.

I like Strategy-RPGS though so I wanna play the 3rd one so badd. I played the fist Bleach DS game and I thought it was pretty damn cool but I think 4 cards is too much.

 

For DS 2nd the cards are not as imba as the first and takes way more skill to play. The hotkeys can't be spammed repeatedly as they have a cool down timer and all the characters were balanced out. 2nd is coming out in english soon and it also supports online play. For HTS, I hope the next one will be more skill base like actually having movesets for finishers or attacks. BTW 3rd phantom's OP song is really good.

Make it cel-shaded. Wii games are about style. Not crap KH-esque graphics.

I know it is but I dont have a DS. >.< HTS 6 is far off I dont know what they'll do it honestly. Either a good revamp for the series or little ass improvement.

I havent heard 3rd Phantoms OP......gonan go do it now!

As in overpowered. The cards in the first has unlimited combo gauge as one the cards, so its just use card and spam bankai before using another. Good thing is that you can disable the card option in the menu.

Anime-based PS2 games looked way better. These might be early screenshots, but from experience, anime-games rarely get better than their early screenshots.
