If you were a game developer, would...?

1. What system would you develop for and why?

2. What genre would your game be?

3. What new would you hope to bring to this genre?

4. Name 2 people you would want on your team. *Exp. Nobuo Uematsu would be my pic for music"

I actually am in game dev school so here's my answers:

1.) Xbox 360 and PC due to they mass market and customization (XNA, etc.).

2.) My game is a 2D platformer based on XNA customization.

3.) A mix of 3D cutscenes tansitioning to revolutionary 2D platforming for a new type of experience.

4.) Cliff Belinski and Michael Klucher (Program Manager – XNA Community Game Platform).

I'd share my high concept more but copyright issues and all, competitive industry...I can't afford the risk.

Ah, a question right up my alley (as I am an indie dev)

1 - PC, Wii, and maybe one of the HD systems. Wii due to low development costs and using the new controller tech, PC because its easy port of the game as is, and the HD systems to get one of the audiences in from that crowd.

2 - Ideally, I started my dev team with an Action-Adventure, loosely inspired by Zelda: OOT (and now TP also)

3 - Greater interactivity, merging more elements into the gameplay to make it more alive.

4 - Im not big on names, just give me two environmental artists/level designers that can make great levels.

1. All 3 consoles and PC so no one bitches. It's a console game.

2. adventure thriller- I'd call it an an intense action game.

3. Would bring the intensity of real life emotions to the genre. Every action you make or take affects your character and ultimately effects how you play. If you shoot someone you become more and more desensitized making killing easier but it also affects you psychologically and leads to worse outcomes in the future. That's just for example but it'd be real like emotions and actions that affect the gameplay and your character's future. You will think about every action you do and every way you do it making the game very intense.

4. I'd want 2 of the greatest visionaries ever working on it: Miyamoto and Kojima. As for music I'd want a mix of rock music tied in with the greatest game musician ever... Koji Kondo to make the original score. Tie them in with the Zelda Team, MGS Team, and the Eternal Darkness team and I think we'd have a stellar game.

1. Wii
2. Action RPG
3. Most action intensive RPG ever
4. Cliffy B. & Michael Bay (two of the biggest tools, but know how to do ACTION). Since Michael Bay doesn't really count, lets add Jade Raymond (Hotness sells)

1) Wii, but maybe 360 too
2) Either Action Adventure (most likely) or RPG.
3) Characters different from the cookie cutter things you may have seen in the past and music that you will remember for years.
4) I would choose Suda51 to get my artwork across and improved (I actually have my own drawings for if I made my own game). Then I'd find whoever did the Shadows of Colossus songs and Zelda songs to convey my music ( I got beats in my head too). I need a publisher & developer with money & credentials though.

Dev- Intelligent Systems
Pub- Nintendo

1. Playstation3 and the PSP (but possibly wii, ds, and 360 if they offered enough money jk :p)

2. the genre i would do are rpg, and probably action adventure.

3. what i would bring to this genre? well i would bring a kickass story filled with twists and turns. a dark story not the basic everyday rpg type of story. also the music would be epic as well. maybe try some different battle systems (have a couple idea's but be a huge post if i explained) i'd love it to be kinda like mgs style cutscenes to help the story just maybe not as long.

4. as for 2 team members i think i would want to start from scratch instead of taking old or already proven people take my chances on a new young team that share my same interest/ game/ art styles. but for the music i'd probably get Nobuo Uematsu

1)all consoles and pc
2)action/adventure with puzzles(like zelda)
3)i would hope to bring some cooll ideas, make the story better
4)hmm im not really sure on this

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

1. pc
2. RPG's in the vein of planescape and arcanum
3. Quality dialogue, great character development and turnbased combat in the vein of fallout.
4. no-one else, too expensive.
