I find it amusing that people who instantly dismiss Mario platformer games are now praising a game in the same genre that caters to both grown up hardcore men and to small kids. No more double standards please. I cannot understand people saying Wii is for the babies and now saying this game is great...

Same happened with Banjo Kazooie.

Well, there is a big difference between this game and Wii platformers.  This game has a great sense of humor and it doesnt take itself seriously.  The gameplay is fun, and there are mature themes in the storyline.  You cant say that about anything on the Wii.

Mario ... no story, even less humor, just genius platforming.

Bethesda's Todd Howard "if install base really mattered, we'd all make board games, because there are a lot of tables."

Every R&C is extremely badass, I beat every one on the PS2, and I'm sure as hell getting this one. I suggest you try them as well.

No, Banjo changed a formula for a game that was fine as is/was.

What praytell did your post have to do with Spartan buying Ratchet: ToD?

I liked a couple of previous R&C iterations but this one never really grew on me. The graphics are amazing and the game does have it's moments, but I just didn't find it inspiring. Someone said it's like playing a Pixar movie and that much is true. Honestly I had more fun watching my neighbor's kid play it than I did playing it myself as the attention to detail is just incredible.

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

Fine purchase. I absolutely loved TOD, it's been my favorite PS3 game so far, and I can't wait for "quest for booty".
