Yes, I think that's going to happen.
Many of you continue to say japanese developers are alredy shifting etc ...but I still see no other thing that low cost productions being announced for the system. And Wii software sales ,outside some of the Nintendo flaships as Brawl and Wii Fit and Mario Kart ,isnt what I would call good. Most of the third party games are bombing really hard with a 6.2 million userbase ,in fact the PS3 seems to be doing far better with its 2.3 million userbase regarding core games.
And just one hint for those obsesed with past history to support Wii domination.History never repeats itself exactly.
it takes a few years to develop a game. no one took the wii seriously before its release and market dominance. now they are starting to take it seriously. for the wii to get better support in its third year is reasonable because games started in the wii's first year will start to come out then.
but following the ds domanice...well the ps3/360 are better competitors then the psp. i think the wii will get a majority of attention later in it's life cycle but not like the ds vs. the psp does. it will be much more evenly distributed.

Fatal Frame IV,Monster Hunter 3,Tenchu IV are just a few stolen exclusives heading to the wii. Then there is new ips like Fragile, Arc Rise Fantasia, Little King story, etc that are going to the wii. All of these seem to be of high production. I bet we will see more at TGS too. Also Dragon Quest Swords, a mediocre spin-off sold more than every PS3 game in Japan except MGS4 with far less production costs. ToS Dotnw also sold more than many ps3 games in Japan, and is still selling, with far less production costs. So right now the wii is selling about equivalent to the ps3 in japan, but as the Userbase grows so will sales. With the incentive of smaller production costs, it is just about time before more Japanese third parties head way toward the wii. I think we should observe the sales of other games like Tenchu IV, and MH3 before coming to the conclusion you have. Oh and btw please mention some GOOD games on the Wii that sold bad in Japan, and target japanese gamers.

You...may want to reexamine the situation then (I can keep going if you want...) True, the budget for a Wii game is still dwarfed by those of the HD ones, but considering that Hd budgets revolve so highly around art assets that's kind of a given. In the meantime, the Wii is getting more and more games from publishers on the high and low end of the scale. It's even starting to get precisely the same games that the HD consoles are. So, look again.
As for the Wii having poor software sales...no. Just no. Few third parties games are bombing, and I invite you to name a few that are. The final sentence, about the PS3, is especially delicious, since developers are de-emphashizing it in favor of the Wii.
Please remember the old adage that you're entitled to your own opinion, but never your own facts.

Lol, great comments from Will Wright
Castlevania Judgment FC: 1161 - 3389 - 1512
3DS Friend Code: 3480-2746-6289
Wii Friend Code: 4268-9719-1932-3069
anyone who believes 3d party support will main on the PS360 is a n00b at history
look at PS2, DS, and then look at Wii
and you will understand
I keep hearing that nonsense about the Wii getting all.
But what we ALL see is PS360 getting all the big games, and Wii getting low cost productions or series nobody cares about anymore as Tenchu.
As for Wii games bombing in Japan ...well excepting TOS2 who hasnt managed even 200K(its barely ahead a new IP as Valkyrie Profile) I dont recall any third party Wii game doing any good in all 2008.
Keep waiting about 3rd party support ,I will keep playing right now.And when you get that support ( if it happens) dont wake up with that ....that level of gaming we have already left behind some 2 years ago.
And as for your precious "history" comments as "the machine with the biggest userbase gets the better games" I will give you another one...
The machine with the better library gets the better sales. And one hint ...it isnt the Wii.
History doesnt repeat itself.
