i would say a better comparison is Silent Hill versus a game like fatal frame.
RE just isn't scary past the code veronica and nemesis. It's become to actiony.

Thats cheating we know that a PC game with the source engine, online, co op and featuring more enemies in screen than most of the Zombie games will crush any RE or SH any day of the week...
