I'm a 25 year old guy who would like to buy a new HD system.. I already have a Nintendo Wii.
I would like to play the best FPS, Jrpg's and the best racegames.. and I want the best games now.. I don't want a machine where I have to wait 2 years for the games to come out.. I don't really care about movies and multimedia capabilities because I still have a huge DVD collection (over 300 titles) I want to buy a Gameconsole..

Which console would you recommend??

Because it's not worth the price and there is only one game that interests me...

Yes, obviously we're pointing out the spelling and grammatical errors in your posts because we want to ignore the magnificent, unique, and inspired content therein. Of course it's not because that content simply doesn't exist. Nope. Not at all. You are the argument master, Good Sir, and I bow down to your obvious prowess over me.

Also, that is the most terrible analogy I've ever heard. Bill Gates designed Windows and practically invented modern computing. You swindle people into purchasing preorders and stock shelves. Mr. Gates is a genius who rode his knowledge of OS design to a multi-billion-dollar career. You study "game design," whatever that is, meaning that you've never even made a single game, let alone a commercially successful or even well-known one. You are not Bill Gates. You're some kid who thinks he's so much more bloody intelligent than the rest of us because he holds a menial retail job and is studying for a fake degree.

Let me make something very clear here. Whenever you try to tout yourself as maintaining some sort of superiority to others, logical intelligent people will be quick to point out your flaws. My comments are not an attack on you personally, but an attack on the way you are presenting yourself and your side of the argument.

Secondly, making a statement, having it refuted and then claiming things WITHING YOUR ACTUAL POST were never said as fodder for an attack on someone's intelligence is not the way to get your point across.

Thirdly, you can't complain about a lack of valid arguments when you refuse to address all the valid ones presented to you, so please stop whining.

Finally, STOP SAYING INTERWEBS! It is not a word, but a made up term used commonly as a satirical device when presenting the less than technically knowledgeable.

Wait... it could also that the lineup for the 360 is different?? Some people prefer the xbox360 line-up??? So they don't buy a PS3???

I would sell u the 360 system obviously. But what u just did was complete DESCRIBED the 360 to me. Most customers dont position themselves like that. There is usually one thing that is most important to them and that one thing will trump all else.

Mostly it is price and best deal offered

Sometimes it is capability

Sometimes it is Future  Potential

Now if they say FPS is what they like, I mention all but tell them that is 360's strong point. If they ask for JRPGs I can only give them my personal opinion and tell them that from all my experience with RPGs the ones on the 360 pale in comparison to the ones on PS2 so I sway them that way. Racing games also goes to PS systems becuz GT sells more than the lot combined. No other racing game have I heard to sell like 10mill copies. If they want short bursts of fun and something more interactive I recomend the Wii as it is seen as the ultimate party piece.

Again, posts go ignored, points go unnoticed.

Might I add that working in the Retail Space hardly qualifies you as gleaming some great insight in to the game industry, just like someone who stocks shelves at Shop right has no great knowledge about advertising, farming, or product distribution.

The vast majority of the people in this forum have much greater experience and insight in the industry (myself included,) so your "Access to millions of games" impresses no one.
