Forums - Microsoft - 360 owners only: Would you rebuy a 360 again?

Surprisingly, I ended up loving my 360. Great system, excellent games.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

No i would have waited longer then I actually did. I should have jus waited for Lost oddessy instead of jumping on a 20% off coupon on electronics. I still dont play it as muc as my ps3 which is a preferance thing. the exclusives are what made it worth keeping around.

I guess it boils down to buyer's remorse. I sometimes regret my decision to buy a PS3. Seriously, I am glad it's the 20gb one, but I could have used my money better somewhere else. I know there are a few 360 owners who feel the same way. I am curious and want to see their responses. Maybe it will explain why I feel the way I do about my PS3.

I think most people who own both systems, feel less remorse for there PS3 purchase. If nothing more then BR wining, you can look at your device and realize movies for the next 10 years is covered.

I do think this generation from Sony has been a incredibly rough start. Most every game I have wanted for it (other then MGS4) is delayed. I did get some great surprises, if Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank.

But the future of the PS3 is bright. It's a purchase that most people think will bring good things in the future.

I am sorry you feel it was an unwise purchase. If I recall, you got it for next to nothing, so how upset can you be? :)

Hmm, I don't know. I really like my 360, but I could have waited for the price drop to $350 or the Elite model. Oh well.

I'm just glad they extended the warranty.

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

With the JRPGs coming out I will get it again just for those games before putting aside.

That was the 40gb that I flipped and got free Blu Ray movies and a grip of cash. I traded games for that. I paid $$$ for my 20gb, though.

I bought mine September of last year, and knowing everything I know now I would not only rebuy it, I would have purchased it earlier. That way I would not still have a backlog of great games to play like Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six Vegas, etc... I've played a ton of great ones like Bioshock and Mass Effect, but I just don't have enough time for all of them.
