Hey, that was $19.99. BTW: Would anyone buy a Mario+sonic platformer?
Crap... this makes my decisision between PS3 or Wii version of Madden even harder... It might come down to the 10$ difference...
End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
didn't IGN give it a 5.0?
EDIT: That was NCAA 09 All Play
EDITx2: So the NCAA All Play sucks, but the Madden one is good?
Hey bigjon, the Wii version has Call Your Shots :P
# of games above 75 on Metacritic (including downloadable):
360: 241 DS: 144
PS3: 152 PSP: 126
Wii: 85
@ Montana That's got a 7.35... that is not a bad score at all.
7 is "Good"
Review scores are never wrong.
Never.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

That explain it. Very low score in my opinion. Which score they gave to the other Baseball Games from 2K and EA? |
MLB 2k8 got a 6.5 as well. Difference being... it has a metacrtic average of 63. 20 points less.

As much as people bash EA, and question why they’re the largest third party publisher in the World, I think that their recent work has demonstrated why this is the case.
EA was one of the first large publishers who saw value in what we now call Casual Games, and were involved with them long before the Wii was announced. If I remember correctly, the reasons they cited were very similar to the reasons Nintendo used when they talked about how the Wii; that development costs were rising at an unsustainable level and, unless they found new markets to sell to, companies were going to go bankrupt chasing after the same clients.
EA was one of the first large publishers to supply a decent amount of support for the Wii, has produced several games of decent quality, and seems to be one of the main third party publishers who is starting to really understand how to make good Wii games. They have been rewarded with sales that are good enough to turn a healthy profit off of most of their Wii projects, and it is likely if they continue to improve as they have been they will become as dominant with new gamers as they are with existing gamers.

you're looking at the wrong score, that's the user score which is 7.35. (clearly a bunch of idiots)
The Critic score is 20.5/100
