Geez, I really dig the voice acting

Be warned, my sarcasm meter's on the fritz today.

In all honesty, Cecil and Rydia were tolerable, but I felt like killing everyone else off one by one, especially Cid and Rosa. Too bad only Tellah dies...

Goooo DS! I'll be picking this up.

@ Jeffrey If the series keeps going the way it has been since 10 in terms of quality, down, then I expect this game to actually be better than XIII.

My copy came in the mail today. I came immediately thereafter. lulz!!!!

Seriously, I can't wait to delve into this one tomorrow. It looks and sounds just great. I'm really glad they didn't tinker with the score too much. Out of all the Final Fantasies, IV probably has my favorite soundtrack.

The only things I'm not really feeling are the (seemingly) weak voice acting and the augment system, but those will probably be outweighed by the new and improved, armpit-exhibiting Fat Chocobo alone. Cute fella!

I think this is going to be one hell of a trip down memory lane. I may even be moved to tears...

lol @ spoiler

No, really, I do like the voices pretty much across the board, especially Kain's even if that makes me worthy of contempt! And can someone verify that Tellah's voice is the same guy that voiced the spider guy in Spirited Away? It sure sounds like him...

Geez, I really am alone on the voice work

As for the augment system, I actually haven't even used any of them yet so it seems kinda superfluous.

Also:

The emotional impact of the twins' death was far, far less than what I remembered it being the first time around which was a bit of a bummer (I know, I know: it's been 16 years and I already know how it all works out, but it was still somewhat disheartening).

thats right....... I think they should have gave this game a better look atleast though it looks like a bunch of kids fighting childish monsters........ but I guess scince this is the 2nd hand FF atleast it walln't leave nintendo........

I bought FFIII for the DS, but got bored with it. I want to get this game, but I am afraid it might be too difficult. Is it really that difficult?

Explanation of sig:

I am a Pakistani.....my name is Dan....how hard is that? (Don't ask about the 101...apparantely there are more of me out there....)

@Jeffrey Its a remake of a MAIN SERIES FF game. Obviously it will be second hand. Also FFIV is better than every FF game other than FFVI imo, so I would say in terms of quality I would rate this game higher than most despite it being a remake.

its not a FF game its a different game they should call it something else..........

I'll probably be picking this up tommorow. I've been waiting for this game ever since I finished FF3D.
