With the PS3 expected to have 22-23 million by the time this come out and it being funded by Sony, I doubt it will go multiplat. Even if only 1 in 8 buy this for their PS3 that's almost 3 million in sales and more as 2010 comes along.

Sony will have to be money friendly with publishers if they desire to keep ANY exclusives.

If its ps3 exclusive why does it have it listed as next gen consoles not just ps3? I thought I read some where that it was confirmed as being ps3 and 360 could be wrong though.

Your last  2 paragraphs were crap.  You wanna weave some big superficially applicable story about PS3 fans, but the defense mechanism truisms, to the extent they apply, apply to 360 fans, too.  I saw plenty of butthurt comments over Bioshock and Oblivion going to PS3.   C'mon, know when to quit.

Can we get some discussion on the actual game, sil vous plait? Just a thought, since the title has nothing to do with the game's platform.

This is that open-world detective game, right? It sounds like a cool concept--anyone know if you can, for instance, go to someone's house and question them? That would be very cool, IMO.

I want everyone to know that this game is being developed by an Australian developer by the name of Team Bondi.

BTW, this doesn't necassarily mean the game IS in the final production phase!!!!!
It just shows that they are preparing to hire people WHEN/BEFORE they reach the final production phase!!!! They want to be ahead of the game yadiigggg?????

lol, what I said is pretty much true. As for hurting PS3 fanboy feelings, well I'll say this. If you don't see why claiming a game will now suck because it's being ported to the 360, implying that games that can be played on the 360 inherantly suck, then you obviously don't realize how elitist and wrong you are about most subjects. Bias does exist, and contrary to fanboy belief, from time to time, it can cloud your judgement.

Spouting defense mechanisms when you lose exclusives is common. It's called "damage control" and "talking points." Are my observations wrong? Claim they are.

No matter how cool you make it sound, telling me to shut up isn't the same as proving me wrong.

Let's reel this one back in an keep on topic.

The game looks great.

I can't wait to play it on the next gen console of my choice.

Even though it's being funded by Sony, we know how long exclusives last.

Since then, the title has been bumped till 2009, but nothing has been denied about what was said to shareholders during the financial briefing.

Concerns were experssed about potential software sales, and this titles multiplatform release was stated as "likely" to calm fears.

It's getting harder and harder to get developers to commit to exclusivity, especially when the 360 software sells so well in America. FFXIII, Tekken, This.

Exclusivity is a now, conviniently, always "timed."

I hope this doesn't make PS3 owners less excited about the game, like it has about other games. Apparently now, Tekken sucks, Virtual Fighter is awesome, FFVersesXIII pwns FFXIII, and I bet now MAG pwns L.A. Noire, right?

Tekken has always sucked.  VF has always been better than Tekken.  I mean, Tekken sells better, but VF5 has always been a better game.

I don't think I've heard any Versus XIII pwn XIII, as Versus is just as likely to go multi-plat.

I don't think you can compare MAG and L.A. Noire, so I hope that was a joke.

I've never been excited about this game, but it's good to see it's not cancelled.

 


Nah really not...It had a lot of fans...Especially when Tekken 3 was released and I have to say Tekken 5 was an good game.
