@Stats87:Maybe a bad example. EGM for a April Fools day joke (back in 2002) said you can unlock Sonic and Tails in SSBM if you kill 20 foes in Cruel Melee. It was found out to be false. Thing is, it never died, and it's part of the reason the character became so highly resquested in the States (some what).

The connection is that one situation creates a bomb shell. With the FF7 tech demo, everyone thought there was going to be an FF7 remake on the PS3. There wasn't, and now everyone wants to see one. It's not the cause for want, but it is the spark.

Well that sucks. I keep hoping Square-Enix will bite the bullet and do it, so we don't have to keep putting up with fan requests for it or rumors that it's coming soon.

Well it isn't a quote or anything, just a comment by the author.  The rest of it pretty much makes sense, so it seems odd that one sentence is written in such broken english.

It is possible in fact that they will announce a FFVII remake or just not.... No site will know it before the beginning of August..
