I tried to place emphasis on the "mature" games, crossover titles (from the XBOX 360) and games that I personally enjoy. There's a fair bit of adventure/strategy in there, because that's what I like. I'm sure someone else could easily come up with a completely different list that would suit a 20-something guy.

Anyway, how's that? Mature enough for you? Check out sc94597's link for a larger, albeit not guaranteed maturity-safe list.

lol thnx .. iam 26 and i dont mind playing games for teens specially RPGs.

No offense, and I like you a lot, but I always thought you were a younger person.

However, that said, most of us think the DS is the best console out right now.

Since it is now dominated by 3rd party software, there is no longer an age issue associated with its software.

Games like Dementium, Hotel Dusk, and GTA are aimed at an older audience, and most other games are what I call "universally appealing."

So, me, 26, best console this gen. Buy it.

Just look at the list I just gave. Most of those games weren't out in 2005, so things are could change easily. Same most likely will happen for the wii too. Actually it is already happening. We are seeing more and more support for it each month.

I believed you were younger because I didn't realize English was a second language for you.

A lot of people here hate Nintendo. They will most likely try to talk you into buying a Sony product while telling you not to buy a DS, despite the fact that they probably haven't ever played one. Avoid these people. From your posts, I know you're a smart guy,. Don't get conned. It's a DS or nothing. The alternative is in a gaming drought, is about to drop a new model, and support has shown no sign of picking up. Relying on the back catelogue is a desperate argument. The DS, however, has more games coming out than ever before, and just the announced releases could beat the entire library for most other devices. Good luck on your decision.

The DS has a vast and diverse library of games and there's still more coming. I'm sure you'll find at least a handful of games you'll like. I just bought one a week ago and there's so many games I'd like to play, that I can't choose. If you're not interested in the superior multimedia capabilities of the PSP, just get a DS, you won't regret it.

Oh, and I'm 26 too.

Ummm yeah, you'll find something you like :D I think there's more "mature" type titles your looking for on a different hand-held, but there are for sure some things that cater to your needs on the DS :P
