Well the DS had reached a saturation point indeed . With DQ5 it still couldent outsell the PSP . Gundam and the new color was a nice countereffect :)

Well really everyone who wanted a DS for DQ5 probably already got one when DQ4 came out anyway. However I think this is the first Gundam game on PSP that I can recall, at least since it became popular last year.
Psp is selling really well, for how long has the psp been top seller in japan.
why are vgcharts numbers for x360 in japan allways 500-1k higher than famitsu?

Actually it would be closer to ~5500. ~164013(current+3600) v ~158594(current+12000) |
Actually you can always add the 7k Australian PS3s that somehow have been consistently lost in counting the past three weeks which might save your day or not...

It is about 1000 less this week and last week was about 2000 less than the week before. Ps3 is going to average between 10k and 13k on average weeks it seems. If it falls below 10 then god help sony in Japan. |
I don't really get this at all. The Japanese market is at best 25% the size of the American market. We have the PS3 hovering around 55-65k weekly sales and everybody seems to be happy about that number for NA. That leads to around 14-15k "happy sales" in Japan, slightly higher than the current rate is. Whoever thinks about 20-30-40k sales in Japan is way off on the economy scale..
