E3 2008: Logitech Shows Cordless Keyboard for Wii
Officially licensed and sporting Wii-specific keys.
by Gerry Block

July 16, 2008 - In support of the Wii's upcoming communications enabled games, Logitech will soon be launching the new Cordless Keyboard for Wii. First shown at this week's E3, the mini (11.85 x 6.57 x 0.87 inch) keyboard looks to be a solid solution for those aiming to mass communicate on the Wii. Logitech scored an official license from Nintendo for the product, likely due to the thoughtful inclusion of Wii-specific Quit and OK keys in addition to the usual laptop-style QWERTY arrangement.

The keyboard's wireless functionality is based upon a USB 2.4-GHz dongle that plugs into the Wii. Logitech plans to launch the Cordless Keyboard for Wii in August, priced at a pretty reasonable $49.99.

i like the design and white but $50 is a but much. Then again its wireless.....

Too expensive, but looks good

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Wireless = Batteries? Meh...

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

woah that is to expensive

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

That is one hefty price, I'm guessing they are certainly not expecting the mass casuals to flock to it.

$50 is NOT pretty reasonable for a wireless keyboard.

Pretty much all USB wireless keyboards work well with the Wii.

it would be useful when your typing a post here... much faster. when you log in here with your wii.
