I expected like 150k, but congrats to Microsoft and the 360 to finally breaking the PS3 win streak on them.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Why is this such big news? Did we all forget the time when the PS3 never outsold the 360? American sales doubled this week for the 360 so? There is still a possibilty that the PS3 will sell 25k in Japan :) very slim tho, more like 12.5k i bet.
Those who want the discount will jump on it over the next 2-3 weeks.
Those who would rather have 3x the storage space for $50 will wait.
The Aug 4th 60GB models may well be the Jasper MoBos, which should be even more reliable than the current Falcons due to the reduced GPU die and subsequent lower power usage and heat generation.

stupid post. in the territory that the price cut happened it outsold it 2:1. |
obviously its going to outsell the ps3 in america asshole! its the first week after the price cut. even if GBA got a price cut now it would probably get a boost!!
Agree on that.
Besides, we have to wait for Japan sales.
End of Year prediction:
wii: 37 m
360: 24 m
PS3: 20 m

Why would anybody be at panic levels in regards to a console's sales?
| Jlmadyson said: NA numbers do not look too bad. 360 is in range, maybe a little low, PS3 however is too high, but we'll get a better estimate at NPD time. |
as usual npd will show that the ps3 is undertracked and the 360 is overtracked! well for the past few months it has been like that.
