Ok as of today I'm "divorcing" myself from vgchartz.com. I really thought they were all about honest work and all that but after the June08 numbers(and seeing some inconsistencies for a few months now) it is very clear to me that there is something fishy going on with their numbers and theres something wrong with their "policy" all of a sudden changing from NA(US/canada) to "US est" O.o...

I also all of a sudden noticed how VGchartz.com under estimated all the ps3 numbers and over estimated the x360's each and every month... Why would VGchartz.com do that?

Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not REALLY affected by this but just a lil disappointed to know that I was kinda wrong about the website lol. Like I've said b4, I used to defend the site of "haters" cuz I thought the numbers were very close to reality and I thought the numbers got CORRECTED after the NPD numbers...

It's funny how people make these topics and think we care if someone who doesn't take part in the community at all leaves.

VGChartz is an ever-evolving entity. Remember that NPD is not infallible, either. ioi takes his work very seriously and he busts his ass to make sure the numbers are as accurate as possible. Numbers may not be spot-on right off the bat but as more information trickles in, corrections will be made. You don't see the NPD doing that.

If you still want to leave the site, so be it. No one is stopping you. But without knowing the whole story, try not to jump to conclusions as to why the numbers haven't been changed. Maybe ioi is reviewing the data as we speak and plans to change them. Maybe he found information that contradicts NPD and is trying to sort it out. Maybe he found contradictory information and will never change it because his information is correct. Just be patient.
