Mortal Kombat 2 was cool online. Really, is there another must play game there for ps3 right now?

i got 250h+ on CoD4 (PS3)

200h+ on R6V (PS3)

150h+ on R6V2 (PS3)

i might not be that hardcore but i do play online :) and i like that you actually respected my oppinion not just went off on a fanboy rant... but if you can name a game worth getting on 360 ill be happy to try it... but like i said (GoW + Halo = LAME)

I can't speak for your prefferences...but you do know that GOW and Halo 3 outsold any ps3 game out to date? Obviously there is a mass appeal for those games...

In any case...give Mass effect a shot :)

I've played the PS3 Orange Box. It has technical issues like no other.

Since VGChartz is off by PS3 sales in 2 million, I wonder how much they failed at getting 360 sales too? In any case the reason I don't have a PS3 is because its just not worth it like the 360 is for the money. Not yet anyway.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Since when did the sales determine the quality? OOHHHHHH i forgot...when Gow came out and PS3 had just sold its 10th console.... to some kid in Montana who wanted to make a quick buck on ebay.....and even though 360 games outsell PS3... the attach rate is almost consistently better on PS3....
and BTW Mass Effect is an ubelivable game....i wish any console had more games like it....but sadly they dont....

If we go by this sites Worldwide "chartz"...

Xbox360 attach rate - 6.83
PS3 attach rate - 4.44

And this is despite having a larger userbase (bigger userbase
In any case, I may have come off a little harsh so I apologize. I will most likely buy a ps3 in a year or so. Christmas 2009 will surely be very interesting to see if xbox 360 can still duke it out with the ps3 considering most of the big ps3 titles are coming out next year.

It might be that people are waiting on the next Xbox system to be released.

I know I would rather get the new one with BC and then play the platnum hits while I wait for them to develop games on the new system.

Ive waited too long to get a 360, so i can wait a little longer. (Should be out by late 2009/early 2010 to hit its 4 year cycle)

The 360 is selling to the exact same people in the exact same pattern across the world as the first Xbox.

Xbox worldwide sales rate = 24 million/44 months = 0.55 million a month average

Xbox 360 worldwide sales rate = 19.5 million/33 months = 0.59 million a month average

Just like the Xbox, the 360 is:

Dead in Japan
Pretty much dead in Europe outside of the UK
The rest of its sales coming from US and the UK

Nothing happened other than the same people who bought the first Xbox are buying the Xbox 360 and the same people who didn't care about the first Xbox are not caring about the 360.
