It really depends on the type of game, and in most cases games have very short legs in Japan. Take the Dragon Quest games for instance. Huge franchise, huge first week sales, but it drops quickly because in a couple weeks the used games market is flooded with copies. On the other hand wii fit is the type of game that unless you just don't like it, you won't sell it. Same with Monster Hunter to a degree since you can continue getting new gear and fighting stronger monsters.
Honestly I can't see TOS having particularly strong legs.
