once 2008 is out of the way. that ps3 list will be stronger than wii360

the avalaunch of titles are very impressive this year, and 2009 titles are even more so.

ps3 has a good lineup of games with some good exclusives including the best game this gen mgs4.

i predict ps3 to be at 40million sold by the end of 2009, and the games lineup at the end of 2009 will be the best around.

SkeeUK, you really expect 26 million people to buy PS3's in 1817.3 months. Only one console has ever sold that many in such a short period of time and both of them were under $300.

I have a question. Why don't people count multiplatform games? Why do people base whether a library is good solely on the exclusives of a console? If the games are good, they're good. A lot of the 360 games are multiplatform as well, but I'm sure people would want those to be counted as part of the good games.

Anyway, like someone else said, how good or bad a library is is subjective and we won't get anywhere.

I'm tired of people who use scores on Gamerankings or Metacritic to try to prove a point ...

Comparing aggregate review scores between two games that are in the same genre and are on the same platform; when you try to compare games across platform (or worse across genre) you end having two scores which are not directly compatible mainly because of unadjusted bias in the review system.

I only used it to make leo-j leave VGchartz. I don't put any weight into it, in reality. I know what sells a console (or any other mechanical or electronics consumer good)...
