Oh hell, there is so much to play and I´m so damn late to the party.

One question:

When I buy my 360 later this year (November or something) is there one game (RPG) you´d definitely recommend me to buy? And I want a "ZOMG" game, I always buy my consoles together with a true "ZOMG" game, you know? Something that´s really going to blow me away and bring me back to RPG´s.

Right now, Mass Effect is the only true Next-Gen RPG on the market. By far, the best of any.

Atleast, thats IMO. If you want to talk JRPGs, I'd wait: We do have ToV and IU to go before November. Either game could usurp Lost Odyssey from it's perch as best JRPG.

Lost Odyssey is a must-buy for me and Infinite Undiscovery sounds really promising, as well.

The thing is I wasn´t following 360 reviews closely until the end of last year so I have to go back and check some reviews of older games. (I´ll definitely buy Oblivion, Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery, though).

Now let´s hope Final Fantasy XIII turns out to be one of the best games ever created and we´re the happiest RPG gamers on the planet.

I love it how Microsoft changed the 360´s image - it has gone from the ultimate shooter console to the ultimate RPG console. Just awesome. Oh and Viva Pinata just rocks if you ask me. :p

@Eagles: I definitely am. I´ll buy most of those games anyways but I always start with a huge game on each console (for example I bought Mario 64 together with my N64, Super Mario Bros. was the first NES game I played, Final Fantasy X my first PS2 game (though I didn´t like it as much as the PSX games) and Twilight Princess was my first Wii purchase). Now I want a 360 game that is just as impressing. The problem is there might be some interesting Wii and DS games later this year (Final Fantasy IV on DS and Animal Crossing on Wii are must-buys for me), as well and I´m not that much of a core gamer to be honest - I don´t play that much anymore so in the end I could miss out on some true milestones which would be sad. I like to enjoy every second of my games. It enhances the experience.

Pretty much what Stickball said, assuming you havent played Oblivion.

But dont rule out Fable 2, Fallout 3 or Too Human by the time November comes around.

Best advice = reviews.

Seriously you are spoilt for choice though :)

Right. There's a lot of "what if's" between now and November. I could easily see Tales, Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, Fallout 3, or Fable 2 usurping the last batch of RPGs on the X360 for best RPGs in a specific style, or overall.

IMO, ME > Oblivion in terms of "wow" factor. Mass Effect has, by far, the best ending to an RPG I have ever played in my 17 years as a RPG gamer. It's not the highest ranked, in terms of reviews (OB is higher), but it's storyline is head & shoulders above Oblivion.

Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, The Last Remnant, Fable 2, and Fallout 3 all have the potential to be among the best RPG offerings on the 360.

Zoids is looking a LOT like Front Mission 3. Despite FM3 beign a PS1 game.. that's a compliment.

aww man i'd like all of them [especially interested in Rise of the Argonauts] but like some guys mentioned money is a factor

Tales [release]
IU[release]
Fable[release]

The rest Undetermined for now.....

Cool. Thanks for this. Maybe I should just get over the doubting (PS3 or 360) and just buy a 360. It has tons of games I'd like to play.

I'm actually surprised that you haven't decided yet as I thought FFXIII was the main reason for you to consider a PS3 and it is now also on 360 (unless you meant versus too).

I'm curious, what other games on PS3 make you hesitate? (note to other posters, I am not asking for a list of the many great games coming to PS3, I am asking Benga for what HE wants on PS3 that he couldn't get on 360 so save your time and don't reply for him unless you can read his mind).

Yell at square. They're the ones who bought quest and stopped them from making more Ogre Battle games.

That screenshot of Last Remnant reminds me of Kessen!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Will be buying:
Lost Odyssey;
Blue Dragon;
Infinite Undiscovery;
Star Ocean 4 (2009 though); and
and Last Remnant this year on the 360.

I should be getting it by the end of next week!
