i agree, retrosado, the wii has everything the ps360 does. just not as expansive. wii has avatars (miis) online play, good games, good graphics, ect;.
the wii can handle alot of the 360s graphics, i mean, what about dead rising, the conduit, and alot of other stuff?

You list the consoles at their current price and ask what is the best value. The consumers have answered that question for you. They buy whatever console they see has having the most value. Currently, on a weekly basis, the Wii is first, the PS3 is second, and the Xbox 360 is third. Your question is answered.

Best value without personal wants figured in I'd say Xbox 360.

The Wii is missing movie downloading or hardware to play movie content on the console. The graphics aren't up to par with the other two consoles.

The Ps3 game graphics are awesome but lack a big game library to choose from. The bluray player is great but dvd's are still more popular and affordable.

Value wise I feel the 360 fits nicely in between, a dvd player, a huge game library to chose from. The 360 graphics looks way better than the Wii but are a tad below the PS3.The 360 price is right in between also.

But It really depends on the gamers want's.......

For me, the Wii
More games for both my girlfriend and I to play together........My Wii comes in handy when my friends or family members come over. It's awesome for non-gamers to play against. I don't play my Wii as much as my 360 so it makes close to equal competition. My girlfriend and my family/friends would be lost trying to play the PS3 or Xbox 360.

If I didn't have a girlfriend, I would say either the 360 or PS3 but for now and probably next two years I'd say the 360..........
After two years I'd say the PS3, if no other alternative machine came out that trumped the PS3 specs and overall quality.......
.But 2 years from now I'd probably stick with my 360 provided games were still being made........
If two years from now the 360 game production stalled or stopped, I'd definitely would buy a PS3 because the new gaming machine would start with an obscene price tag.

Cost of parts is not the same as value, I said much the same in another thread with a reference to jewellery...

Something along the lines of 'A silver ring may only have £25 worth of silver, but that doesn't stop it being worth £10,000

Like it or not, it is clear the Wii is more valuable to people than the PS3 or 360 (both together in fact).

The only other way of answering the question is with personal value, ie which is more valuable to a specific user.
Of course that then makes this thread a basic "Which do you prefer"
