Forums - Nintendo - Looking at different Nintendo teams and speculating on what they could make

Taking into account everything we already know, these are the titles Nintendo, their 2nd and 3rd party devs have announced so far:

Fire Emblem DS
Disaster: DoC
Blue Dragon Plus
Rhythm Tengoku Gold
Pokemon Platinum
Pokemon Ranger
Kirby Super Star Deluxe
Kirby Wii (is this actually for real?)
Little King Story
Mistery Case (however its called)
Project HAMMER (Cancelled forever?)
Wario Land Shake
Inazuma Eleven
MapleStory DS
Fatal Frame IV
Captain Rainbow
Animal Crossing: City Folks
Wii Music
Wii Sports: Resort
Pikmin 3
Mario Super Sluggers
Professor Layton and the Pandora's Box
Cooking Navi DS

I can count 23 games, and there's 44 dev parties in there.

So AT LEAST 21 games should be on their way, if we consider that every dev is making a game and they can only make 1 at a time.

What's strange is that Nintendo hasn't announced any WiiWare games or VC games so far, I'm wondering what are they planning on announcing.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Kirby Wii exists. Go to IGN and look up Kirby Wii. They have some screens from Nintendo's E3 2K5 Press Conference. Back when it was still a GameCube game.

Project HAMMER is the iffy one. Nintendo's official statement is that it's "off schedule".

People say they've abandoned the core because their focus appears to be elsewhere when they meet with the public. I really don't think it has to do with how many Core games they might be developing.

I know, and after Miyamoto just said they weren't going to annoucne core games at E3 anymore people still continue to moan and say Miyamoto is (somehow) a liar, etc. People need to brighten up and look at what Miyamoto said (for the past 3 years they've been showing off "casual" games yet the next thing we know they love Nintendo, then come E3 they moan again. The cycle then repeats). Then they have to look at this list (and of course it doesn't coutn second parties) and actually realize that Nintendo isn't abandoning core gamers at all. They're expanding with certain games and other teams are making the core games they want. I was disappointed by their E3 (not sad/depressed though like others were), but after what Miyamoto said...how can I hate them?

the reason why alot of people complained was bcause last year they knew that SSBB,SMG,MKWii were all confirmed and coming.

but now a game as good and big as them isnt confirmed, and this kinda made people angry cause if a game isnt announced then it isnt even close to being released

Well I think they will be released before FFXIII for example.

I rather not knowing what game they are making and then after the announcement it will be released withing 1 year.

Unlike some game I've just mentioned.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Well thats optimistic. So who's going to try and break in somewhere, get an exclusive

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Nintendo is publishing Tecmo's Fatal Frame IV?
I didn't know that.

I think Nintendo is going to give a big push to WiiWare. Not to mention, several of those teams are probably working on coding/fine tuning VC games. Somebody's gotta be doing it?

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

veryvery is a french translation!!

means three three in spanish ;)

haha, I'm in Canada, so it's that whole bilingual thing

I was recently in Cuba, but I was usually using "dos" and not "tres"

although there was that one night....

I don't know about most of you, but whenever I see "Project HAMMER", I think of this guy

I hope Intelligent Systems is working on a console Advance Wars. Before anyone comments, Battalion Wars is a poor man's Advance Wars and in so many ways is not even comparable. I would put better money on them working on a Wii version of Puzzle League.

hope their all working on something, that way Nintendo could ensure a steady flow of software.
