not weird. There were rumors going back to the beggining of the year, and people even voted (even me)

i vote as well, but that was for the format war...and PS3 won thats y its weird :P

I fail to see the weirdness in that.

Blu-ray may have won (netflix supported), but you don't think netflix likes money or something? Why wouldn't they support xbox users with this service? I mean, netflix makes more money!

did ya miss my original post? the point is that MS deffenders keep saying that MS dosent pay for exclusive content and all signs point to them paying for netflix.....

did I say anything about MS paying them? no.

All I'm saying is that netflix did it because.... they make money off of this.. jeez, don't twist my words.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

well good idea, but it mainly depends on your connection.

even when psn video comes to the uk. i will not be buying any hd rentals or purchases

i dont believe its worth it. a bluray disk or a hd disk if far better and much more collectable.

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Really I'm getting tired of the assumptions that Microsoft buys everything.

Doesn't it occur to anyone that the 360 is the leading console+entertainment sytem in the most important market: the US? And that it therfore is a ver valuable partner?
Square even said it was THEIR decision to bring FF13 to 360 as well, not very strange considering 360's userbase in the US.
For Netflix this partnership opens a whole lot of opportunities.

First, they do tend to buy everything.

Second, they're not the leader in the US, Nintendo is...  And you are obviously from the US as you are of the mind that you are the most important market.

Third, who else but Square would have made the decision to make FFXIII for the 360?  Come on, of course it was their decision.  Do you think that some other company is making their decisions for them.  The didn't deny that MS paid them either...

We're not??  LOL.

Well of couurse we are, but I just wanted to point out that only we of the US believe that...

Everyone seems to be ignoring the very real fact that the Netflix service was already able to stream through Vista's/XP's media center and the 360 if you were savvy enough to take 20 minutes reading how to do so online. Furthermore with just a little more effort you could stream through your original x-box.

I have a netflix account and stream right on my TV because I hooked my desktop to my Television. This costs me absolutely nothing.

This is just a way for M$ to con people into the Gold membership for something that is free anyways.

EDIT: This really emphasises how lazy (read: stupid) Americans are if something free and already available gets touted as the "next big thing",

As far as I am aware the Netflix streaming thing only works through IE as of right now.  Not sure how you can get this to stream through the 360.  I know you can stream audio and video files from your pc to the 360 but was unaware of a way to stream Netflix's instant watch functionality.  Also, I can hook my laptop up to my tv, but it cannot go up to a resolution high enough for my 42' lcd.  I would much rather not have to worry about linking my pc up to my tv anyway.

EDIT: I looked it up and the only one I have found so far, requires Vista.  I do not have Vista so this one would not work for me.  I will continue the search and respond.

EDIT: Apparently that method is still in the beta stages and is very fickle.  So basically you need Vista and the program is fickle.  Not a very good package if you ask me.

Live is the leader, and 360 has more than double userbase in US. It's business sense to go with Live over PSN. Over 10,000 movies available on day 1 through Netflix. Love to see PSN counter that.

The Netflix download library sucks.

Which is another reason MS is keeping there's in place!

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
