And if you were gutted when they dropped the price of the 64, then you must have been really crushed when Sony shaved $350 off the ps3 in the same year it launched...

I have a PS3 and a XBox 360. I just posted a question about the Wii. I am sure you can get the Wii modded to play DVD's and store extra memory.

The graphics are fine for me.
Wii trounces the Gamecube in everything (hell it even IS a Gamecube as well).

Absolute #1 is the Virtual Console. It's the best feature of any of the current consoles combined. 
#2:  the games library. Since Wii is doing so well we'll see alot better games and a lot more 3rd party support.
#3: Nintendo has regained its focus: Kart, Smash Bros and certainly Mario are all better than on GC.
#4: Graphics are also notably better. Galaxy and Brawl are absolutely gorgeous.
#5: Wii has online

I hate Nintendo because I got ripped off $200. 6 months later the N64 was half price I was so annoyed. I bought a N64 In March 2007 on launch in PAL region Australia. The Wii has been locked at the same price of $400 for almost two years in Australia.

Sony and Microsoft has had price drops too. So don't you feel ripped by them? Nintendo has had the constant price.

No I do not hold that against Sony I worship Sony. I would take a bullet for Sony. But Microsoft well they have not cut their prices by much in the past three years, only two small price cuts.
