Aren't they the developers of Persona? They might be talking about that.

No, Atlus develops Persona and SMT

Nippon Ichi is the developer of Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, La Pucelle and Rhapsody, for example

Yay for Nippon Ichon! These guys are actually giving the PS3 JRPG support, and their games are great too!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

cool,i hope its gonna be good

Ah, my bad. I'm always confused about these 2 :P

I am really curious to see what their "true transition" to HD will be like.

I dunno Akuma....have they ever made a graphically impressive game?

Don't get me wrong, I love their games, but graphics isn't the reason.

Yep.

Off the top of my head

Disgaea Series

Soul Nomad and the World Eaters

Phanom Brave

La Pucelle Tactics

Makai Kingdom.

Basically expect fair solid gameplay for a SRPG and a hilarious story.

None of which have been around for more than 1 generation.

My money goes on Sakura Taisen V.

Key quote is this . "a lot of the hardcore RPG fans will [enjoy the announcement]," and that the series has been around in Japan for a couple of generations."

Can't remember who exactly, I would have to look but Someone mentioned that an NIS America employee at Anime Expo said Sakura Taisen V was coming to North America, so we'll see.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
