The new 80GB is $400, so does this mean that the 40GB will drop in price? If so, do any of you think it will be a phase out or will it be permanent? A permanent sub-$400 PS3 SKU sure would be nice, B/C or not

It won't have a price drop, they are just putting the 80GB instead of the 40GB.

how will they phase it out of stock if they are the same price? At least last year the dropped the price in order to really liquidate the 60GBs. If they want toclear out those 40s, they should drop...but I guess they have been pretty adamant about a price cut, and only focusing on profitability
