I thought Sony had a good showing and Microsoft had an ok showing.....until FFXIII announcement. Sony would've had to announce Gears of War 2 PS3 exclusive or something like that in order to make up for that huge blow.

Wii won hands down.

Please someone tell me what Microsoft has that makes it good past Gears 2? Fable 2 looks mediocre and is blown away by InFamous. No answer to LBP. No answer to MAG. Resistance 2 is right there with Gears 2. Final Fantasy still comes to the PS3, and FFVersus is still exclusive.

After Gears 2, what is coming to the 360 again? Microsoft announced no games because, like this year, they have nothing new exclusive pass Gears 2 and a few decent at best games.

That didn't change at all. They didn't even announce anything new. 360 owners may not buy a PS3 now in NA, thats the only thing thats changed. The PS3's future still has many more AAA exclusives left than the 360 and has in many ways become the home to shooters.

I think Microsoft was the only conference that dropped a bomb. The Nintendo one didn't even seem to try, though I am interested in the new 1:1 motion and mildly interested in animal crossing & the mic thing. Sonys conference was trying and kinda felt bland. I have to give it to Microsoft even though I think they're the most evil out of the three corporations.

My opinion on the big 3 in E3 this year:

Microsoft: Their only big news was the FFXIII bombshell. They didn't announce anything else that was unknown. They showed demos mainly for games that will already be multiplatform or end up so eventually. Seems they want to focus on co-op gameplay, which is something I don't need or want. The only thing I found intriguing was 1vs100 online.

Nintendo: Gigantic joke. Wii Sports Resort: I didn't care about the first Wii sports, and I certainly don't care about doggy discus. WiiMusic = WiiTarded. Acting like you are playing an instrument requires no skill and would be fun for 5 year olds.

Sony: I think it's safe to say everyone expected God of War 3 to come eventually, so it's not a surprise. The concept of MAG is interesting, but I'm probably not going to play it. They showed off a lot of upcoming games for the various platforms, but nothing special. They announced video downloads, and I'm never going to use it.

Who won? I think we all lose.

Did you forget that MS conference was yesterday? Look at Nintendo and Sony, both were today, both have similar views. Nintendo was earlier and Nin has slightly more views. Way to try and spin it tho...

In the second e3 chat you said Sony was hyping Killzone2, which is a lie, Sony and GG show just about nothing for this game.  Even the official killzone site has just about nothing on it.  The official Sony forums for Killzone2 also have about nothing on Killzone2. The PSN only has two trailers for Killzone2 even.

E305-  The first showing with a CGI video of what Killzone2 maybe like.
E307- They show one level during the Sony conference, with a couple videos leaked during the conference of the same level but farther in.
leipzig 07- The have a 25min developer walk through of part of the level shown at E3.
Gamers day 08- They show part of the sceond level in a demo that was playable for media people.  Several videos come out of the same part on various websites. There also also several 5-10mins talks with GG developers about Killzone2, between now and E3.
e308- Some more videos of the later half of the level shown at gamers day, Killzone2 was not even a major part of this E3 sony conference, they showed it for several seconds when they showed what was coming out on the PS3.

Thats not very much for 3 years.
