I think MS has the "shocked as it happens" victory, but Sony has the "thinking more about it a few days after the excitement is gone" victory

HOw does MS win, when all they do is get their own version of a game already coming to the PS3, Just cuz it made everyone go crazy doesn't mean they won,
PS3>>360>>>WII

^_^
People must understand that Megaton =/= good Keynote.
MS had a megaton.
The other ninety minutes of it sucked majorly. Showed games we all saw, then focused on casuals for 1 hour.
Sony on the other hand, showed games we hadn't seen, got through all the corporate gloating in a very fun way, and paced the conference so I wasn't bored during it.
I think they all failed on some level, meaning there was no stand out, how do you clearly define a winner.
M$ stole, rapped and pillaged their way to a conference.
Nintendo innovated but forgot the core gamers.
Sony went around in circles and sold everyone with a video of GOW3.
But to have to choose, i would say
sony > M$ > Nintendo
and Im a Nintendo fanboy.
That said MotionPlus, WS:R has me more interested then any title from either Sony or M$. I also think if nintendo spent 10 minutes showing other games that are being revealed at the show they would of come away clear winners. It hard to win when your focus is gameplay.
Nintendo = Innovation = Wii
Sony: 7.5 Great games shown, but no Team ICO, no Level 5 RPGs (WKC or DC3), and not that many new games introduced, but solid overall
Microsoft: 6 Horrible and uneventful till the last two minutes when the bomb happened
Nintendo: 3 They didn't anounce a single non-casual game

Completely expected about 20 who won E3 thread (wasn't even expecting this one to be the firs).
And yeah, all around meh. I was hoping for a new Zelda or even a new "core" IP from Nintendo, I would have liked to see more games other than their hugely hyped ones from MS, and the Sony one did a _great_ job at showing games but didn't really wow me (MAG didn't wow me at all).
Sony wins, they announced a few games that I want, though I was disappointed by no Uncharted 2 or Team Ico stuff, but still quite awesome
Final Fantasy is still coming to the PS3.
Had it been exclusive, MS may have won, but making a game multi-plat doesn't do that.
Did MS win in E3 06 when GTA IV went to 360? No. Going Multi-plat doesn't equal a win.
Worst E3 ever.... no argument.
Microsoft's was awful and yes they have FFXIII but doesn't mean they won E3 to win E3 they would have to have announced it has exclusive.
Nintendo did nothing... actually, they just stood there talking about nothing that really interests core gamers which is what gaming is meant to be, let there be games for the casuals but having a whole conference on them is one step too far.
Sony had the best presentation, the most trailers and games shown, MAG was the best game shown with 256 players online at once on one map shooting each other... how big are the maps?!?!? They didn't really top the FFXIII announcement more equaled it with something completely different.
Sony - 1st - B
Microsoft - 2nd - C
Nintendo - 3rd - FAIL
