4/10 pretty much lackluster

No big announcements. Mic is nice, MotionPlus is nice, Animal Crossing is nice. Wii Sports 2 is nice but after umpteen million mini-sports games on Wii do we care anymore? GTA DS is a bit of a surprise (poor PSP) but GTA Wii would have been much bigger.
No storage solution. No core games. No surprise (of real substance). And still no games announced to the rest of the year expect AC??
| ZenfoldorVGI said: I think it delivered on the hardware front with voice chat and 1:1 motion controls. Fanboys have been hating on the Wii using those talking points for a while. Where Nintendo failed to deliver was in the software department. One big title like Zelda, Icarus, or Punchout or any kind of surprise announcement would have done wonders for that conference. |
(Sorry to quote you twice in a row)
Seriously, no announcement, fine. But no showing of existing core games.... WTF.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
3/10
Things we already knew, i was even nervious because of the posible sorprise, now i only can think of a word, Dissapointment
| Mint said: This was the first Nintendo E3 I've watched... is it normally like this? |
Not usually, no. Most of the time they show off games, or something. This year was really, really bad, hence the disappointment.
3/10 -
overall lame and weak;
their biggest show is f*n wii music
they briefly showed some games, which are okay
they did not address any real games
casual are all cool - we know nintendo is great at making them
and we all f*n know how much money they're making and how they're blowing up the competition - f* the charts. we don't need that
nintendo needs to at least show support for the core gamers, mayne
plus it seemed like a fairly short presentation
anywayz, it's really weak... and lame
maybee i wuz jes expectin' more out of them, i don't knoe
oh,well...up to sony now
sony needs more exclusives for ps3 and more games for psp
then i'd be happy=)
better than microsoft, but still a big dissapointment. wheres Kid Icarus? Zelda?
i give it a 6/10
2/10
very bad. I just don't like music and minigames. I want to play a great story and feel the atmosphere of a game. Nintendo just showed crappy games.
Animal Crossing is way too childish for me.
Wii Music didn't even look like fun. I am playing a saxophone with pressing 4 different buttons. Yeah... great entertainment after a day at work.
Wii Sports2 looked okay, and it will surely sell great, but again, not my style of gaming.
Yeah and I propably won't use the DS as a cooking guide.
The snowboard game looked "okay", but not better than "okay"!
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
C+
They needed to come out with a bang, and they did not. There were no big games, it was very disappointing.
My Games of 2011:
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Super Mario 3D Land
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
