I (personally) can't get overly excited without seeing it in use, but I can see why other people are excited ...

All I hope is that the MotionPlus is going to be included with all future Wiimotes and the add-on is for those of us who don't want to pay $40 for a new controller.

I'm not 2 happy, this is mainly directed at the core game(r)s.
Who gives a f*ck, this doesn't really fit in the casual market principal

At the moment Im really excited about Motion plus but this is because Im hoping some great Motion plus games will be showed later today, If this works as well as they claim then great things can come from this.

Surely they will also be selling wii-motes with the function already built in?

I prefer games over add ons for controllers.

^Better still, all new Wii Remotes would have that extra piece packed in. Current customers registered with Nintendo get to receive coupons to redeem the MotionPlus.

I'm definitely excited. I personally think the device should have not been revealed until the press conference, when they coulda got a nice pop for it and some E3 revelation cred.

I would expect them to bundle it with a new Wii Sports/Wii Play game this fall. Expect a demo in their press conference.

Also, if this give us 1:1 control for the two lightsaber games coming out this fall, it will rock.

I was meh about the Wii remote until I saw Wii tennis in action. I can't get too excited about this but at the same time, given events of the last couple of years I am confident that Nintendo will show us a game that shows how this works and that it will be very amazing.

I am meh on it until they announce a game and a price. I don't care about 1:1 sword fighting, and it really depends on how much better it actually is. For most purposes the Wii Remote by itself works fine.

Right now, I'm actually more interested in getting one so I can play with it on my PC.
