IF FFXIII won`t be downgraded and limited because of x360, i don`t care.

I even can expect, that ps3 version will run at 720p, while x360 at 480p to maintain same visual quality. =))

Gran Turismo 3 - 1,06 mln. in 3 weeks with around 4 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Gran Turismo 4 - 1,16 mln. with 18 mln. PS2 on the launch.

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.
Final Fantasy X-2 - 2.4 mln. with 12 mln. PS2 on the launch.

 

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

How can you love a company? No company has your best interest at heart. None. Do you think MS cares about it's fans, and that's why they needed to do to get FFXIII? No, they care about money. Sony cares about money.

All the products you bought, gave you something in return (the product) Sony owes you nothing, and you owe sony nothing.

Buy a product for the product, let the company continue to try and win your business with better products.

Sony needs to take a lesion from that page here. MS is doing everything in its power to win your business. Sony is not.

I say bravo to MS for what they did. Now it's Sony's turn. In the end, we all win.

I'm wiling to play along, but really it's just a game. Final Fantasy XII was a great game, but it's not that big a deal. Metal Gear, Halo, and GTA are much bigger franchises, and their homes were decided long before today.

The reason Microsoft took this franchise is to shut up fanboys. Next time those guys hype up a third party PS3 game with little to no details on gameplay (LA Noire for example), story, etc. expect Microsoft to buy that one too.

Oh, its a BIG game. And no it isnt an FPS or GOW3. Honestly I dont think much will be shown but a few random screen shots. The game is still in massive development but it already puts KZ2 to shame.

 

there are hints throughout this message but I wont tell. If just screens are shown at E3, wait for TGS.

 

Oh, WKS should be playable at E3 this year too. That I can say. =P

PS3 & 360 have been positioned as having most of the same content for much of the last ~1.5 years. They follow the same strategy and have weak and strong regions.

FF is big in Japan...but its big in the USA/Europe too.

If you wanted to reach alot of gamers in the USA market PS3 exclusivity just isn't the answer for the next year or two at least. The only people who are buying $300+ consoles in this shitty economy are people who view them as long term investments or the wealthy, which means not many will buy PS3 or 360 for one game. In Japan people will buy a system for one game and then sell it and the system back so its less of an issue. With PS3 doing only "ok/average" in Japan what this means to me is that Square-Enix wants to do well in the USA/Canada/Americas market and right now that means a multiplat release.

Yeah, FF13 has almost just sealed Kingdom Hearts as not being a PS3 exclusive anymore. Although I have a bet saying that Kingdom Hearts is going to be exclusive to the Wii it's getting more and more likely that it's going to be a multiplat game for PS3, 360, and Wii.

But if it was a multiplatform game it would have been annouce today on the Xbox 360 conferece don't you think?

 

Well, I think SE has to start working on KH before they can announce where it's heading.  That's why there's been no announcement from either side yet.
