They can easily win. FF7 reamke, KH3, new colors, SMG2, or a new Zelda game could all beat Microsoft's news, and all of these are possible. (excpet for KH3, then imo it would be a tie)

Nintendo owned Sony more than MS is owning it now when Monster Hunter 3 was announced as a Wii exclusive...

I think MS wins this E3 no matter what. nothing sony/nintendo can show will be even close to surprising as that.

plus - it effectivly shuts up the sony fanboys who claim games like mgs4/ffxiii simply can't be done on the 360. well guess what...not only can it be done, it will be.

so very damaging to everything sony wants you to believe about the power of the ps3. so unexpected. so full of win.

still hoping for some great stuff from nintendo though - i'm sure it will be great but i've almost all but forgotten about that new wii motion enhancing periphrial.

why would a zelda announcement win it? after reading the replies to this thread, people might as well say that nintendo wins e3 for being nintendo.

The guy from Square-Enix coming out saying "We have two exclusive games for the Wii. First up is Kingdom Hearts 3: Mushroom Kingdom. Classic Square, Disney and Nintendo has come togheter to save the world.

Second is special- We decided it was time for the next title to come home where it started. Here is the trailer for Final Fantasty 7"

 I don't know, there were a few other notable things mentioned (not as big as FF XXIII), so if you consider MS's press conference to be weak, then how could Nintendo's not help to be weak, as well?  Assuming you're not overly biased.

 It remains to be seen whether MGS4 will ever make it to XB360, especially given the touted 50 GB on PS3 would require many discs for XB360 (I know, that could be pared down).  Though, with the new "copy any game to the HDD" feature, it is quite possible to have multi-disc games become less of a hassle.

Well, maybe for many MS has won the E3, but that FF announcement was a big win for nintendo. The rest of the marketshare will remain split between X360 and PS3, therefore neither will be anywhere near challenging wii. I think this makes the war officially over.

For me personally, wiimote precision attachment is already the winner, i only expect Lucasarts to announce a 1:1 lightsaber game soon, and nintendo wins the whole year.
