Wow thats awesome, this is the answer to Six axis, if there were any doubts, and counters M$ attempt at motion sensing.

Its clearly an attack at M$ possible Newton, as it has been announced the day of the M$ conference.

Very impressive from Nintendo, not something they would of done in the past. This will be on everyones mind all day leading into tomorrows conference. Thats a 10 a f..kin 10 :)

I just hope they have something decent to show it with AKA a zelda title, but i imagine it will be something they can release soon to package it with.

In order for this to be "the answer to the Sixaxis," the Sixaxis would've had to have been capable of doing things the Wiimote couldn't do. Which is not the case.

Anyway, I really don't understand how this is supposed to improve the Wiimote.  I thought the lack of 1:1 was mostly the fault of developers.  This just seems unnecessary.  I guess we'll see.

If true, I hope they have one helluva game lined up to show it off.  You know, like Project HAMMER being revived or something.

This does set the Wiimote apart from the nunchuck though...now only one of your hands will have very accurate motion controls...the nunchuck was already the less accurate device.

How do you make a boxing game with only one accurate hand?

Two Wiimotes.

What he said.

Man, what is this crap...just make freaking M rated games for grownups Nintendo. You already have motion controls...you don't need to make them motion-ier.

I'm so gonna sell my Wii after E3 if nintendo is doing more peripherals...
  1. What does this do with having M rated games?
  2. Nintendo isn't the only one that makes games for the console.

I don't want to trash this as I am going to wait for nintendo to comment about it first...but you don't think enough is enough with peripherlas?

So, you hate peripherals?  I'll remember that in an hour when MS has announced their own Wiimote copy.

Well if that happens, atleast microsoft has enough software for the 360 to back up making 1 new peripheral. Nintendo games and new peripherals seem to be 1:1 these days.

The only really important question is: what game are they packing this in with?

I'd like to see them bundle it with the remote in future (or build it in), plus sell it separately. I'm going to need three for my existing remotes plus another when I get round to buying a fourth remote.

Ya but can you attach the nunchuk to it?

We're still speculating on that....

It appears that there is a cap on the right side picture....and that cap removed on the left side picture.

Is anyone here shocked that you would have this reaction?  Go back to your 360 please.

maybe his 360 is in RRODmode?

The true is that i'm getting tired of so many add-ons, let's see if this worth it

megaton.. pre-emptive strike.. fatality.. all directed at microsoft, right before their press conference
