Firstly, call of duty 3 was rushed for the ps3 and wii's launch so that could be the reason why it wasn't on par with the other games in the series. I do say that people underate call of duty 3,since it is an above average game according to ratings. Low-Mid 80s They have many more months to develop call of duty 5.

My mistake. I did not realize Treayarch was actually making an attempt to make a good wii shooter. Although I still believe that they will put more effort into the PS360 versions just because of the fact that 4 did so well on those platforms.

WTF has this topic got to do with the COD3, Killzone (2 or otherwise) or the Wii?



Actually OT: Jak sounds a little weird, but Daxter sounds spot on, and the humour seems about right. The character movement looks like the other Jak games too. My guess is: these videos are the real deal.

Killzone 2 looks really good right now. I think you should judge an upcoming game by how good it looks and developer previews rather than writing it off just because it's predecessor was disappointing. I know why you're bashing it tho...cuz your JEALOUS that the wii doesn't get any shooters.

 

I don't own a Wii, and in fact the Wii has Metroid Prime 3, which is better than any shooter the PS3 has, to date, except perhaps CoD4. That said, the Wii has upcoming in its shooter library Conduit and Call of Duty 5.

I just find it odd that anyone under the tuscan sun could claim that Killzone 2 means anything, after the initial lie of in game footage delivered by Sony, the bad first game, bad spinoff, and the lack of a developer change, not to mention the virtual plethora of fantastic FPS games that it has to compete with.

If think we can do a little better than "hoping" games are good in the modern age.

You're convinced that Killzone 2 is going to be crap because the first was an average game at best, which is fair enough, but then you mention The Conduit (a game made by people who've put out nothing but shovelware in the last 10 years) to try and prove that Wii doesn't have a pathetic library of shooters (which it does).

Just wake up to yourself. Always targeting kingofwale when you're just as bad.
Killzone 2 looks about 50 million times more promising than The Conduit anyways.

 

thank you okey,,,,,I thought I was the only one noticing it.

he is hyped for conduit becasue it just looks good(which it does for a wii title)but then he attacks anyone who shows a bit of intrest in KZ2 becasue the last one got 7.3 in metacritics.

 I agree. The videos do seem like the real deal and have me really hyped for sony's press conference.

hopefully jak4 looks better than that, because those graphics look like crap. and the jak series really needs a change in direction cause the last 2 games were ok at best. also i agree with zenfoldorvgi about killzone 2, because the 1st game was absolute shit, a complete horrible attempt at a fps. i think any normal minded person, should hope kz2 is good at best untill play. because the dev's have alot of problems that needed fixed from the 1st game.

couldn't the graphics just be explained away by how obviously early these videos are? Looked to me like they were just starting to create these scenes.
