All right, then how about Samsung, LG, Dell, HP, Toshiba and various others like that. They can come together for a joint agreement to manufacture a universal console.

EA or Apple. I wouldn't be surprised if SEGA partnered with Apple on their next console, since they have been mounting a small comeback lately, quality-wise, but don't have the cash reserve to reenter the race. Apple would also need a good partner, since they have no (real) in-house development.

Realistically, there is no money to be made as a hardware manufacturer and unless you have some other way to make money there is no point of entering the market ...
